Abstract

In this recording, Amber Fillingim interviews Chuck Torrey about his experiences as a student at the University of South Alabama. He notes professors who were very influential to him, listing some books that his professors had published. As he received a degree in history, Mr. Torrey offers insights into some of Mobile’s history, not only describing the history of the buildings on campus, but also his family’s history in the area. Mr. Torrey speaks fondly about his years at the university.
