Archaeologists found evidence of past storms and hurricanes during excavations for the I-10 Mobile River Bridge Archaeological Project. In this video, archaeologist Sarah E. Price shares how storms leave distinct deposits in the archaeological record and explains what these soil layers can tell us about past human life in Mobile.
