Abstract
In this interview, Alexis Herman is interviewed by Alisha Palmer over Zoom about her memories of the Down the Bay community. Ms. Herman discusses some of her family history, and describes in detail the neighborhood she grew up in and its relationship to the Crosstown or Davis Avenue community. She also shares memories of businesses Down the Bay, games that children played, and some other personal memories of growing up in the community and attending Most Pure Heart of Mary High School.
