Abstract
In this interview, Darren Wilson is interviewed by Alisha Palmer about his memories of growing up in the Down the Bay neighborhood. Mr. Wilson relates some of his family history, describes the house he grew up in, and discusses neighborhood dynamics through stories about activities like fishing, oyster shucking, and athletics. He also discusses aspects of food and foodways in his home and the neighborhood. Describing some of the changes he has seen in the neighborhood, he relates his memories from urban renewal Down the Bay, and reflects on the impact it had.
