Abstract

Poster presentation for Honors Thesis project.

Chemical carbon dioxide scrubbing, although a seasoned concept, has recently received greater attention for air-revitalization in enclosed spaces to support life. Exploring alternatives to the traditionally used monoethanolamine (MEA) is imperative due to the odors in enclosed spaces and potential harm of MEA. This understanding will be used to determine a safer alternative to MEA for supporting people in enclosed spaces. (Abstract altered for restrictive purposes)
