Life Forms Mechanicals

This is a collection of mechanical drawings for the comic strip “Life Forms” by Daniel Silver. Daniel S. Silver is an professor emeritus in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Alabama.

Dan joined the university in 1983. As an extracurricular activity, he wrote and drew the comic strip “Life Forms,” which was published in a local alternative newspaper called The Harbinger. The comic strip addressed local and national politics and personalities with a dry sense of humor and various animals as protagonists. The collection consists of all of the original hand-drawn ink on paper and Bristol board with Zipatone comic strips that were published in The Harbinger newspaper from 1985 to 2010.
