Abstract
In this recording, Ryan Morini interviews Dorcy Tate about his experiences as a student at the University of South Alabama in the mid-1970s. Dr. Tate describes growing up in Mobile, and shares some of his memories of K-12 school in the area, as well as attending Bishop State prior to matriculating to South. He describes his impressions of South, his recollections of campus life, and then his reasons for leaving before continuing his education in Chicago.
