Acc #: 328

This oral history collection consists of ten videotaped interviews conducted by Sheila Flanagan and John Beebee in 1996, recording the reflections of relatives, friends, and colleagues about Mobile activist John LeFlore. The interviews were excerpted to produce an hour-long Alabama Public Television documentary released under the title, “A Quiet Revolution: The Story of John L. LeFlore,” and the project was funded through an Alabama Humanities Foundation grant. Full video files of the interviews are available through the McCall Library upon request.

The files below are the interviews as they are catalogued in this collection at the McCall Library. Please note that what is listed as the "date of publication" in the description of each interview indicates the date that the interview was recorded.
