Abstract

At the time of this interview, Ms. Jones served as the president of the Mobile Bay Audubon Society, or MBAS. The interview appears to have been recorded with the primary intention of contextualizing her papers, which director Michael Thomason persuaded her to donate to the University of South Alabama archives. She shares some reflections on her career as an activist and environmentalist, and offers some responses to McDade’s questions about how the papers are organized and how the collections came together.
