Description
In this study, we will test, analyze, and compare NIST approved RNGs in terms of entropy, pattern frequency, uniform distribution, and compressibility in order to determine whether or not they are truly random. By doing this, we hope to better understand the security implementations for cryptographic use as well as provide a comprehensive analysis of the implementations of these algorithms. The importance of comparing these algorithms will showcase the importance of unpredictability regarding random numbers.
