Abstract
In this interview, Floyd Eric Draine is interviewed by Kern Jackson at the James Seals Park & Recreation Center. Mr. Draine speaks about his memories growing up in the Down the Bay community of Mobile, and discusses some of the changes he has seen in the community over his lifetime. He shares some memories about recreation and the things that children did for amusement when he was growing up. Mr. Draine also shares some reflections on desegregation and integration, as well as regarding his cousin Vivian Malone who integrated the University of Alabama.
