Abstract
In this interview, Ann Thomas Covington is interviewed by Jada Jones and Ryan Morini at the McCall Library at the University of South Alabama. Ms. Covington shares her and her family’s history Down the Bay, including her parents’ florist business which they ran out of the backyard. She also discusses the fun they had like roller skating, bike riding, and trips to the beach on Dauphin Island and Mon Louis Island. Ms. Covington also shares her thoughts on the boundaries of Down the Bay, and its relationship to other areas such as the Bottom.
