Description
Introduction: Discussions of mental health are increasing in today's culture. Looking at specific demographics helps us understand their mental capacity. Collegiate football players are a severely understudied group. Focusing on them will allow us to understand the constant high-pressure situations.
Objective: Why do collegiate athletes have a hard time discussing and getting assistance for their mental health struggles?
Project focus: Mental health experiences of collegiate football players, accessibility of mental health resources for athletes, and stigmas towards collegiate athletes.
