Abstract
In this interview, Kimberly Bolden is interviewed by Jada Jones and Ryan Morini at the McCall Library at University of South Alabama. Ms. Bolden grew up in Daphne, Alabama, and talks about her memories of growing up over the bay from Mobile, and of frequent visits to her godparents in Toulminville. Because her godfather was a pastor, he took her to different churches, and Down the Bay was one of the primary locations that they would visit. She shares her memories of engaging in activities Down the Bay such as roller skating and going to Pollman’s Bakery. Ms. Bolden concludes the interview talking about the church she joined in 2016, Christ Temple Apostolic, which is also located Down the Bay.
