Abstract
In this recording, Bart Nelson is interviewed by Ruby Staten, Kathy Cooke, Lex McKinnell for the Blakeley Bluff Oral History Project. Mr. Nelson grew up on Weeks Bay in Magnolia Springs, Alabama, and he talks about some of his experiences there and the changes that he’s seen in terms of the waterways and development. He speaks in detail about fishing, as well as gigging for frogs and frying up the legs. Mr. Nelson also shares some thoughts and reflections about his understanding of history in the area.
