Abstract

In this recording, Jimmy Fields is interviewed by Michael Fitzgerald in the University of South Alabama’s McCall Library. The interview begins with Mr. Fields discussing his family’s connections to the Umbria plantation and the Pickens family, and his relationship to the Mosley and May families that are also connected to Sawyerville. He discusses some specific people such as Eloise Pickens and Warren Waller; the interview concludes with Mr. Fields discussing his interactions with Amanda Seay.
